how to install the PVC flange?
What is theplastic flanges?
Plastic Flanges include blind flanges, one piece flanges, vanstone flanges, flange is to make the pipe and pipe interconnection parts, connected to the pipe end. Flange connection or flange joint, refers to the flange, gasket and bolt three interconnected as a group of combined sealing structure of the detachable connection; flange on the eyelets, bolts to make the flange tightly connected, flange between the use of gaskets to seal. This can play a good sealing role, where in the two planes around the use of bolted connections at the same time closed connection parts, generally known as flange.
What are the type of the flange?
There are actually many types of flanges, some according to the connection method, some according to the product material and so on. A gasket is added between the two flanges and then bolted tightly. The thickness of flanges for different pressures is different, and the bolts they use are also different. Our UPVC, CPVC use glue bonding; FRPP use welding rod welding; PPH, PVDF have heat fusion socket and butt welding socket.

How to install the PVC flanges?
1. Firstly, put the two flanges to the two ends of the pipeline or equipment to be connected, and fix them with bolts.
2. Install the gasket, it is recommended to choose the material suitable for the medium, such as Viton or PTFE.
3. Adjust the position of the flanges so that they are parallel and aligned, and gently tap the flanges with a rubber mallet to make them fit tightly.
4. Uniformly tighten the bolts, preferably by cross-tightening to avoid skewing or deformation.
5. After confirming the flange connection, you should carefully check whether there is any leakage around the connection point to ensure the installation quality and safety.
What should we pay attention to during install the flange?
1. In the process of installation, care should be taken to keep all parts clean and intact to avoid impurities and oil contamination of the flange surface.
2. If the flange connection is used in cases where the ambient temperature is greater than 50℃ or the medium temperature is greater than 100℃, high-temperature-resistant gasket materials should be used to avoid failure.
3. In the process of use, attention should be paid to regular inspection of flange connection parts for looseness or leakage, timely repair and replacement.
