CPVC pneumatic butterfly valve is a valve used to control fluid flow in piping systems. It’s made from CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride), a thermoplastic material known for its chemical resistance and ability to withstand high temperatures.

The pneumatic aspect of a valve refers to the actuation method, which uses compressed air or gas to open and close the valve. This allows remote or automatic control of the valve, making it suitable for applications where manual operation is impractical or inefficient.

Butterfly valve designs use a disc that rotates around a central axis to control the flow of fluid. When the valve is open, the disc is parallel to the direction of flow, allowing unrestricted passage of fluid. When the valve is closed, the valve disc is perpendicular to the direction of flow, effectively blocking the passage of fluid.

CPVC pneumatic butterfly valves are commonly used in industrial applications that require the control of corrosive or high-temperature fluids, such as chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial manufacturing. They are reliable, easy to install and require low maintenance.
