      What is PVC check valve used for?

      Check valve, also known as one-way valve or non return valve, its role is to prevent the backflow of medium in the pipeline. The opening and closing parts rely on the flow of medium and external forces to open or close.
      Check valves belong to the automatic valve. They are mainly used in one-way flow of medium on the pipeline, only allows the medium to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.

      How does the PVC check valve work?

      The body part of the PVC check valve is made of PVC material, which is corrosion-resistant and not easy to wear. There is usually a sphere or flap inside the valve body, which is used to control the flow direction of the medium. When the medium is flowing in the forward direction, the ball or flap is pushed up, allowing the medium to flow through the valve body; and when the medium is flowing in the reverse direction, the ball or flap will fall down, preventing the medium from flowing backwards.
      Specifically, PVC check valve body will have an inlet and an outlet, the ball or flap is located between the inlet and outlet. When the medium from the inlet into the valve body, the ball or valve flap by the fluid pressure, will be lifted up and rise to the top of the valve body. At this time, the channel between the inlet and outlet open, the medium can pass smoothly. When the medium stops flowing or reverse flow occurs, the reverse pressure of the fluid will cause the ball or valve flap to close immediately, preventing the reverse flow of the fluid.
      In addition, the valve body is usually also set a sealing ring, used to ensure that the valve sealing performance is good. When the ball or valve flap rises to the top of the valve body, the sealing ring will be in close contact with the top of the valve body, forming a closed channel to avoid backflow of medium。
